Pune: The Ferit Cricket Bash (FCB) co-founded by cricketer Zaheer Khan and Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty will be conducted in the city during the months of July and August.
This unique league aims to give passionate cricket fans, young or old a chance to live their dream.
Ferit Cricket Bash (FCB) aims to provide a platform for amateurs to showcase their zeal. Representing their city and having their friends and family rooting for them while being watched at a national scale on live television. To top it up by gaining invaluable experience in being mentored by legends such as Chris Gayle, Muttiah Muralitharan and Praveen Kumar and many other International icons in the pipeline.
Zaheer Khan, Cricket legend and co-founder of FCB said, “I started my journey with humble beginnings amongst hundreds of other cricket enthusiasts, and most of us had nothing, but our love for the game that kept us going. The opportunities I received while participating in local tournaments back home enabled me to represent my country. Realizing the value of the same, I am encouraging the budding talent of Maharashtra, a land where many cricket legends have broken into the Indian Team, to come and partake in this unique league with great potential to come celebrate the passion for cricket.”
