Siddhi wins 500m Time Trial gold

PUNE: Siddhi Shirke from Maharashtra finished on top, clinching the gold medal in the Under-14, 500 metres Time Trial final of the 64th National School Games (Cycling-Track) in progress at the Balewadi Sports Complex and Hinjawadi on Tuesday.

Shirke clocked 45.110 seconds while Pooja Swetha from Tamil Nadu stood second with a timing of 47.610 seconds. Suhani More from Maharashtra clinched the third spot clocking 52.517 seconds.

In the boys category, Narayan Mahto from Jharkhand won the gold finishing with a timing of 40.185. Clinching the silver medal was Atharva Patil from Maharashtra who clocked 41.680 seconds. Meanwhile Arnav Shree from Jharkhand won the bronze medal clocking 41.830 seconds.

In the Under-17 girls, 500 metre Time Trial final, Leakzes Angmo from Delhi won the gold clocking 43.710 seconds. Mansi Kamlakar from Maharashtra stood second finishing in 43.960 while Naorem Biseshori Chand from Delhi stood third with a timing of 44.070. 

In the boys 500 metre time trial final, Anmolpreet Singh from Punjab finished on top clocking 37.340 seconds while Sanjay Saravanan from Delhi stood on the second position with a timing of 37.630. Dipak Mukane from Maharashtra had to be content on the third position clocking 37.692 seconds.

Under-19: 1 km Time Trial: Boys: Final: 1. M Tanishq (Delhi) 1:14.980; 2. Pranav Kamble (Maharashtra) 1:21.011; 3. K Pranay (Telangana) 1:21.210.
Girls: 1.KR Varshini (Tamil Nadu) 45.452; 2.Anisha Saharan (Punjab) 46.140; 3.Dhanamma Chichakandi (Karnataka) 47.495.
Under-17:
Boys: 500m: Time Trial: Final: 1. Anmolpreet Singh (Punjab) 37.340; 2. Sanjay Saravanan (Delhi) 37.630; 3. Dipak Mukane (Maharashtra) 37.692.
Girls: 1. Leakzes Angmo (Delhi) 43.710; 2. Mansi Kamlakar (Maharashtra) 43.960; 3. Naorem Biseshori Chand (Delhi) 44.070.
Under-14:
