Indian cricketer and the vice-captain of the limited-overs side Rohit Sharma turned 33 on Thursday. Making his international debut in 2007, Rohit made an immediate impact, playing a crucial role in India's inaugural T20 World Cup triumph.

Over the past seven years, Rohit has emerged as one of the greatest ODI cricketers, slamming 7,148 runs at an average of 58.11, which includes 27 hundreds.

Rohit is also one of the most successful Indian Premier League (IPL) cricketers. He has the most number of IPL title - five, winning four as captains. Over the past few months, Rohit has made a strong case for himself in Test cricket.

In an ideal world, Rohit would have been playing the IPL's 13th edition during this time of the year. However, it has been a quiet birthday for him amid the coronavirus lockdown.

The swashbuckling batsman is celebrating a quiet birthday amid the coronavirus lockdown across the nation. Had it not been for the current pandemic, Rohit would have been leading his club Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League's 13th edition.

Pouring wishes

On his birthday, his teammates also made sure to make him feel special. Sports fraternity namely Virat Kohli, Mayank Agarwal, Suresh Raina, Harsha Bhogle and more have penned down the notes for Hit-Man on social media.

Hitman hits the right chords on Instagram

Over the past month, the locked Rohit has been doing a lot of domestic chores and catching up with his teammates and oppositions through Instagram. From jokes to trolling to sharing of some incredible insights, the Mumbai Indians' skipper has kept the fans engaged.

We wish Rohit a very happy 33rd birthday and hope the golden continues...
