Mahendra Singh Dhoni turned 39 on Tuesday and wishes from all over the world have poured in for the former India skipper who led India to several victories. Wishes and messages poured in from sports fraternity as well as from other luminaries across the world but the most special message came from his wife Sakshi.
Sakshi shared many gorgeous and candid pictures of his husband on Instagram and expressed her love with the sweetest message.
Sakshi in an Instagram post wrote, "Marking the date you were born, another year older, greyed a bit more, become smarter and sweeter. (Literally) You are a man who will not be moved by all the sweet wishes and gifts. Let's celebrate another year of your life by cutting a cake and blowing the candles! Happy Birthday, Husband!!”
BIRTHDAY WISHES FROM CHITTU TO BITTU
Apart from Dhoni’s wife, another wholehearted wish for former captain came from all-rounder Hardik Pandya. The father-to-be shared his most beloved memories with Dhoni on social media and captioned them with the sweetest words. He wrote, "Happy birthday to my Bittu from your Chittu My friend, who has taught me to be a better human being and stood by me in bad times".
Dhoni, who last played in Blue jersey in the 2019 World Cup semi-final against New Zealand, has often been filmed by his wife chilling with daughter Ziva and their dogs at their house. After a defeat against the Kiwis in the World Cup, Dhoni has stayed away from cricket and remained tight-lipped due to wandering rumours of his retirement.
This year, MS Dhoni had joined his Indian Premier League club Chennai Super Kings camp to prepare for this year’s season but the players went back home as the novel coronavirus was declared as a pandemic.
