Kanishk’s show helps Barclays sneak into QF

Pune: Kanishk Singh’s all-round show helped Barclays book the last remaining quarterfinal spot by winning their last league match against Syntel in the FLAME University Corporate Cricket T20 League 2018 managed by Triumph Events at the FLAME University Campus in Lavale on Sunday.

In the penultimate league match, Barclays rode on to Kanishk Singh’s all-round display after they rightly chose to field and put Syntel in to bat. Kanishk struck three wickets for 24 runs, while only Sabir Shaikh of Syntel provided some resistance before the team was stopped in their tracks at 76 for 7 in 20 overs.
