Infosys emerge champion for sixth time at Ankur Joglekar Inter IT Cricket

PUNE: Defending Champion Infosys asserted their supremacy in this event as they won the title at the 16th edition of “Ankur Joglekar Memorial” Inter IT Cricket Championship Cup 2019-20 organised by “IDEAS A SAS COMPANY” played at Poona Club Cricket Ground.

In the finals  an all round performance by Makarand Dhamale scoring 61 runs in 48 balls guide Infosys to  scored a 40 runs win over TCS to emerge 6th time champion in this event. 

Winner  team Infosys get Cash Prize Rs.60,000 and  Trophy and Runners-Up team TSC get Cash Prize Rs.40,000 and  Trophy. 

Man of The Series Sandip Sanghai of Infosys get Rs.10,000 while Best Batsman and Best Bowler get Rs.5,000 each.  The Prizes were given away at the hands of Sanjay Bangar, former  Indian cricketer and Assistant Coach of Team India.

Infosys – 161/ 8 wkts in 20 Overs(Makarand Dhamale 61 (48), Sandip Shanghai 29 (21), Gaurav Babel 28 (24), Sunil Babar 2/26 , Tejpal Singh Chiragiya 2/27) bt TCS – 121/ 8 wkts in 20 Overs(Mayank Jasore 22 (12), Nikunj Agarwal 28 (19), Abhinav Kalia 21.no.(14), Dhruv Solanki 3/10 , Anand Konda 3/25) Man of the Match – Makarand Dhamale (Infosys)

Infosys won the FINAL match by 40 RUNS
