Pune: Krida Prabodhini, Income Tax Department, GST & Customs had it easy wins, while Hockey United struggles in their respective matches to advance into the next round of the inaugural Ajit Dada Chashak Hockey Tournament at the Major Dhyan Chand Hockey Stadium, Nehrunagar in Pimpri, here on Tuesday.
In a one sided encounter, Krida Prabodhini swamped Friends Union Club 10-0 and likewise Income Tax Department pushed Green Meadows to the door with a 9-2 win.
Later, GST & Customs arrested the run of SRPF (State Reserve Police Force) 7-0 and Hockey United edged out Hockey Lovers 3-2.
In the days mid afternon game, Krida Prabodhini rode on three goal efforts by Taleb Venkatesh Kenche (3rd, 15th, 31st), Taleb Shaikh (9th, 14th, 24th), Gopal Mote (34th, 35th, 38th) to push down Friends Union Club.
