Ruffina favourite for feature
Ruffina, from the stables of trainer Dallas Todywalla, will be the star attraction of the day in Pune. The Classy filly takes on a tough bunch, but knowing her dazzle, she should be able to come into her own despite giving weight. 

Up to the seven furlong distance, she is the proven undisputed queen of the turf. Ruffina will make his debut at the Pune racecourse, and is blazing the tracks during the morning workouts. Ruffina is the proven undisputed queen of the turf. Her only loss in her nine-race career has been in the Indian 1000 Guineas (Gr1) run over 1600m. 

Ruffina bounced back admirably to line up three subsequent victories including the Sprinters’ Cup at Kolkata. Being the highest rated, she is bound to carry the top weight in this terms race yet looks good enough to add to her winning tally. 

Ruffina has had a few easy workouts and all looks well with her. All the horses in the Turf Club Trophy (Grade 3)  (Terms, Horses, 4 years old and over.)  will be racing on the main track for the first time over a distance of 1400m. A card of 7 races have been framed for the afternoon.  

The other major events of the day are the  Moosa M Hoosein Trophy to be run over a distance of 1800m. Three good bets for the day are Eden Rock (2-1), Gallant Knight (4-1) and Epiphany (6-9).
