Pune: FC Pune City girls defeated SKF 3-0 in the Guru Teg Bahadur Football Tournament in progress at College Of Engineering Ground on Friday.
Ritu Francis scored the first goal for FC Pune City in the 10th minute with a pass from Sejal Jaju. Later Simran Shedge scored two goals in the 27t and 34th minutes with passes from Ella Dubey and Smidhi Khokale.
In another match, Lions Sports defeated BETA 2-0 to enter the next round. Swetha Borude scored the first goal for Lions in the 10th minute with a pass from Maya Manc. Swetha struck again in the 29th minute, scoring the second goal with a pass from Komal Devkule.
