PANCHGANI: Pune girl Salsa Aher ended her year on a high note bagging a memorable double crown at the MSLTA Hotel Ravine All India Ranking 2Lac Men’s and Women’s Tennis Tournament organized by Ravine Hotel at their tennis courts in association with MSLTA and played at the Ravine Hotel in Panchgani.
The left handed Salsa won both the singles and doubles titles. In singles final, fourth seeded Aher outplayed second seeded Sanskruti Damera of Telangana 6-1, 6-1. In the doubles she teamed up with West Bengal’s Yubrani Banerjee to outplay Tejasvi Kate and Shrishti Daas of Maharashtra 6-2, 6-3
Top seeded Suraj Prabodh of Karnataka stopped the winning run of Maharashtra boy Kaivalya Kalamse registering a 6-3, 6-2 win. In the final, Ishaque Eqbal of Bengal and Mohit Mayur of Tamil Nadu claimed the doubles title.
