PATTAYA: Diksha Dagar played her best round of the week with a flawless three-under 69 that saw her rise from Tied-25th overnight to Tied-13th at the Ladies European Tour Thailand Open. Dagar, playing in her rookie year, is now eighth on the LET Order of Merit and second on the Rookie of the Year list.
In 10 starts, she has made nine cuts, won once, been in Top-5 twice and twice more in Top-20 including this week.
Diksha played her first three rounds in par 72 each and ended the week at 285.
CHAWRASIA 53RD
SSP Chawrasia shot one-over 73 and Gaganjeet Bhullar carded two-over 74 as they finished Tied-53rd and Tied-62nd in the BMW International Open.
Chawrasia had three birdies on front nine, but he also gave away a double bogey on third and two other bogeys on back nine. Bhullar, who shot an ace in the second round and won himself a BMW car M8 Coupe.
REAVIE BLAZES BACK 9
Chez Reavie, who finished Tied-third a week earlier in the US Open, exploded on the back nine of the third round of the Travelers Championship with a seven-under 28 and zoomed to the top of the leaderboard.
The 37-year-old Reavie matched a tournament record with a back-nine 28 to shoot a 7-under 63 and overtook playing partner Zack Sucher’s problems and turned a six-stroke deficit into a six-stroke lead heading into Sunday. Sucher shot 71 and with Keegan Bradley (69).
