PUNE: Commandos FC defeated Gunners FC 3-1 in the senior division category of the SM Joshi Football Tournament being played at Pimpri on Friday.
For Commandos, Clifford Samuel scored the first goal in the 10th minute while Ajinkya Inamdar scored the second in the 30th minute followed by Ishwar Kshirsagar who added one in the 35th minute. Pratik Jadhav scored the lone goal for Gunner FC in the 32nd minute.
In another encounter, Indrayani FC defeated Giant FC ‘A’ 2-0. For Indrayani, Shubham Gaikwad scored the first goal in the 10th minute while Jagat Raj scored the second goal in the 35th minute.
