Aryans storm into the final

PUNE: Aryans Cricket Academy scored second win of the tournament and booked the place in the final of the Dr BV Rao Cup Invitational Inter-Club Under-14 T20 Cricket tournament at Nehru Stadium here on Tuesday.

In Aryans’ nine-wicket win over Club of Maharashtra,  Saahil Kad’s 33 runs stood out.

Earlier, Club of Maharashtra defeated Jus Cricket Academy by 24 runs thanks to excellent bowling spell by Aftab Sayyed (2 for 5).

Club of Maharashtra 84 for 9 in 20 overs (Krish Shahapurkar 26 (32b, 4x4), Aftab Sayyed 26* (46b, 3x4), Sujal Havale 3-20, Yash Borkar 2-13) lost to Aryans Cricket Academy 89 for 1 in 9.1 overs (Sahil Kad 33 (23b, 5x4, 1x6), Ritvik Rade 26* (21b, 4x4), Sudarshan Junhar 22* (12b, 3x4, 1x6).
