Pune: A workshop on ‘Sensitisation dealing with Child Sexual Abuse’ was organised by Project CACA for Vidya Pratishthan’s teachers in Vidya Pratishthan’s New English Medium School.
Nishita Choudhari, Rithika Krishanan, Tanvi Sardesai, who are working at Fortis Healthcare as psychologists, Pradeep (Director for Implementation of Project CACA) and Dr Krupa Gandhi (Advocacy Ambassador) were the resource persons for the event.
Vidya Pratishthan’s Registrar Shirish Kumboj addressed the teachers about the changing structure and milieu of society, and physical threat to safety. The session was based on the relationship that creates feelings of safety and comfort, promote feelings of confidence and competence, factors of influence, special concerns, interventions influence media, types of child abuse, myths, trauma, establishing trust and many more things.
All the keynote speakers gave a brief explanation related to the concerns.
