Vajpayee’s portrait unveiled in PCMC

BJP city unit president and MLA Laxman Jagtap unveiled the portrait. Mayor Usha Dhore presided over the function.

PIMPRI: Former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s portrait was unveiled in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) hall on the occasion of his birth anniversary here on Wednesday. 

BJP city unit president and MLA Laxman Jagtap unveiled the portrait. Mayor Usha Dhore presided over the function. Those present on the occasion were Rajya Sabha member Amar Sabale, Bhosari MLA Mahesh Landge, Standing Committee Chairman Vilas Madigeri, leader of the house in PCMC Eknath Pawar and leader of the opposition Vitthal Kate.

The labour department of the municipal corporation observed a good governance day on the occasion. A workshop on ‘Relief from stress, tension and work management’ was organised for the employees at the Auto Cluster in Chinchwad.
