Pune: Passengers visiting Patna and Lucknow will soon have direct flights from the Pune airport. A SpiceJet flight will be available during the day from July 1 while Indigo will launch the facility at night from July 16.
The SpiceJet flight SG 376 will depart from Patna at 9.55 am and arrive in Pune at 12.25 while flight number SG 375 will depart from Pune at 1.10 pm and arrive in Patna at 3.40 pm. The service will be available from July 1.
Similarly, Indigo flight number 6E 835 will depart from Lucknow at 1.15 am and arrive in Pune at 3.30 am while flight number 6E 836 will depart from Pune at 4 am and arrive in Lucknow at 6.20 am.
There are 200 flights from the Pune airport. After adding these two flights, hundreds of fliers will have options for these two destinations. The flights will be available for all six days except Saturday. The runway is under maintenance on this day.
SpiceJet announced the launch of 14 domestic flights. Reiterating its commitment for direct connectivity and on-boarding non-metros and smaller cities onto the national aviation map, the airline has introduced a slew of new flights and frequencies effective July 1.

This means an addition of new routes and destinations for our customers with non-stop flights. Reiterating SpiceJet’s commitment to ‘direct connectivity’, the new flights will offer great synergies for travel from non-metros and small cities to a host of destinations on the domestic and international network via multiple onward connections.”
The new flights introduced on the Delhi-Patna, Mumbai-Bengaluru and Chennai-Rajahmundry sectors will be operational daily. Whereas the frequencies introduced on the Hyderabad-Calicut, Bengaluru-Tuticorin and Bengaluru-Rajahmundry routes will be operational on all days, except Tuesdays. The Patna-Pune flight will be operational on all days except Saturday.
