Pune: The Maharashtra Police Wireless HQ, based in Pune, has sent a proposal to the DGP office for establishment of an integrated training complex for police personnel from constable to Superintendent of Police (SP) rank. The training manual for them was updated recently.
Additional DGP Ritesh Kumar, who is also the Director of the Police Wireless Department, announced this on the occasion of the passing out of 87 trainee officers/ personnel at the headquarters located on Pashan Road on February 28.
CID Chief Sanjay Kumar, DIG (Wireless) Abdur Rahman, SP Prakash Sonawane and other senior officers were present on the occasion.
The CID chief asked the Wireless Department to make use of modern technology to increase the efficiency of the police force.
