Traffic To Be Diverted For PM’s Rally At SP College

“People participating in the rally should use public transport to avoid any inconvenience. Parking facility will be provided at Ganesh Kala Krida, New English School, Maharashtra Mandal and Raman Baug,”

Pune:  Following the planned election rally of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday at SP College, the officials of Pune Traffic Police Department will implement traffic diversions near SP college, which will be effective from 12 noon till midnight on Thursday.
 
As per the information shared by Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Pankaj Deshmukh, parking of vehicles will not be allowed on Tilak Road and Shastri Road. 

“People participating in the rally should use public transport to avoid any inconvenience. Parking facility will be provided at Ganesh Kala Krida, New English School, Maharashtra Mandal and Raman Baug,” 
added Deshmukh.

Traffic Diversions
The vehicles heading from Deccan towards Khandoji Baba Chowk should not use Sambhaji Bridge and should take a turn towards Karve Road.

Further, the vehicles would not be allowed from Dandekar bridge towards Alka Chowk. Hence, the commuters should use Savarkar Chowk and Mitra Mandal Chowk.

The vehicles heading from Sarasbaug, Swargate, to Tilak Road should use Bajirao Road and no vehicles will be allowed after Puram Chowk.

The vehicles from Shahu bridge, Dattawadi, Parvati Paytha, Janta Vasahat will not be allowed to head towards SP college.
 
These vehicles can take a turn and head towards Kalpana Hotel and Sanas statue.

The vehicles from Kalpana Hotel and Sanas statue can only head towards Sinhagad Road and Shahu bridge.
