Pune: While the government has opened the Pavitra Portal for candidates of teachers’ recruitment to fill in their preference lists, the links are now locked again due to the numerous technical glitches which the candidates have been facing while filling the forms.
“Presently, we have received two PDFs for providing preference lists for the posts with the interview, as well as the ones without an interview. However, due to glitches, many candidates were not able to give the correct preferences. While some would not get the medium of their choice, the others could not log in into the portal itself,” said DTEdBEd Students Association Founder-President Santosh Magar.
A candidate from the Open category stated that he could not select his subject, that was geography. Another candidate from Urdu medium and Open category could not select the schools of preference for his medium. As the candidates have been voicing their worries, the Education Department locked the portal to resolve the issues after being informed of the glitches.
“The State Education Commissioner Vishal Solanki has assured us that the portal would open by Tuesday (May 28) and the candidates would then be able to start updating their preferences,” Magar said.
