Spl trains to run from Pune to Nagpur, Bikaner & Patna

With the festive season starting by the end of September and Diwali to follow after three weeks, there is a rush to book train tickets. Anticipating this, Pune railway division of Central Railway is all set to start special trains from October 17 for Bikaner, Nagpur, Gorakhpur, Manduadih and Patna.

PUNE: With the festive season starting by the end of September and Diwali to follow after three weeks, there is a rush to book train tickets. Anticipating this, Pune railway division of Central Railway is all set to start special trains from October 17 for Bikaner, Nagpur, Gorakhpur, Manduadih and Patna.

A senior railway official said, “The Pune division will start special weekly trains or festival special train for the selected destinations. The number of destinations will increase as per passengers’ demand and waiting list.”

A special train between Pune and Gorakhpur will run from October 21 to November 6. The train will run from October 21 to November 4 and from October 23 to November 6 from Gorakhpur side. The train will depart at 9.30 pm on every Monday from Pune and reach Gorakhpur at 8.30 am on every Wednesday. Similarly, during the return journey, the train will depart at 10.45 am on every Wednesday from Gorakhpur and reach Pune at 12.05 am on Friday. This train will have 20 coaches and will halt at Daund, Manmad, Bhusawal, Khandwa, Itarsi, Bhopal, Bina, Kanpur, Barabanki, Gonda and Basti.

The Pune-Bikaner special train will start running from October 21 to November 6. The train will leave Pune at 8.45 pm on every Monday and arrive at Bikaner at 1 am on Wednesday. While returning, the train will leave Bikaner at 4.30 am on every Wednesday and arrive at Pune at 12.25 pm on every Thursday.

A special train between Pune and Patna will start running from October 20 to November 12. The train will leave Pune at 4.15 pm on every Sunday from Pune and arrive Patna at 11.30 pm on every Monday. In return, the train will leave Patna at 12.45 am on every Tuesday and arrive at Pune at 8.05 am every Wednesday. The train will halt at Daund, Manmad, Khandwa, Manikpur, New West Cabin and Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction.
