Special trains to run to clear Holi rush

PUNE: The Railways has decided to run a special train on special charges for Kazipet and an AC train for Hazrat Nizamuddin to clear the extra rush during Holi.

As per information provided by the Railways, train number 02151 superfast special will leave Pune at 9.30 pm every Monday till May 13 and will arrive in Kazipet at 6.35 pm next day. Similarly, train number 02152 Special will leave Kazipet at 1.30 pm on Wednesday from March 13 to May 15 and arrive in Pune at 11.45 am next day. The train will run on a special charge.

The train will halt at Daund, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Shegaon, Akola, Badnera, Dhamangaon, Pulgaon, Wardha, Warora, Chandrapur, Balharshah, Sirpur Kagaznagar, Ramagundam and Peddapalli. It will have a composition of one AC-2 tier, 5 AC-3 tier, 8 sleeper class and 6 general second class coaches.

A special train will also run between Pune and Hazrat Nizamuddin. Train number 04417 weekly AC special train will depart every Thursday from March 14 to 28 at 5.15 am and arrive at Nizamuddin at 5.35 am next day. Similarly, train number 04418 weekly AC special train will depart from Nizamuddin on Tuesdays from March 12 to 26 at 9.35 pm and arrive in Pune at 9.25 pm next day.

The train will halt at Lonavla, Kalyan, Vasai Road, Wapi, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota and Mathura. It will have a composition of one AC first class, six AC two-tier and 10 AC three tier coaches.

NEW HALT FOR PUNE-INDORE TRAIN
The Railways has decided to halt the Pune-Indore bi-weekly train at Palghar station. Train number 19312/11 will halt on experimental basis for six months. Train number 19311 Pune-Indore will arrive at Palghar station at 11.20 pm and depart at 11.22 pm and the returning train number 19312 Indore-Pune will arrive at Palghar station at 5.45 am and depart at 5.47 am.
