Pimpri: Sakal Vidya Education Expo, which received an overwhelming response from students and their parents, concluded on the second day here on Sunday.
The education expo, which brought reputed educational institutions under a single roof, was organised by Sakal Media Group and Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust and co-sponsored by The Unique Academy.
Author Chetan Bhagat, who addressed the students at the education expo on Sunday morning, advised the youngsters not to get scared by failure. He said that failure is a step in the journey towards success and asked the youths to believe in themselves and achieve success.
A large number of students and their parents visited the education expo to know about various academic options. A large number of educational institutions had participated in the education expo which was held at the Auto Cluster in Chinchwad.
The associate sponsors of the expo were Audyogik Shikshan Mandal, Dr DY Patil Education Complex, Creative Academy, Marathwada Mitra Mandal and outdoor partner Dheerendra Outdoor Media Solutions Pvt Ltd. The participants were guided about educational opportunities by veteran educationists.
On Sunday, Dr Mahendra Sonawane spoke about the admission process for architecture courses. Shitalkumar Rawandale spoke regarding admission process for engineering courses. Sandeep Patil and Kanchan Patil spoke about the same for the standard XI. Lalit Wadhwa spoke regarding admission to vocational courses.
