RSS running parallel government, alleges Ambedkar at rally in city

Pimpri: Bharip Bahujan Mahasangh leader Prakash Ambedkar here alleged that the process to centralise political and financial powers has began in the country and said this will lead to suppression of the voice of the underprivileged people.

Addressing a rally of the Wanchit Bahujan Aghadi, comprising the Bharip Bahujan Mahasangh and All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) here on Monday, Ambedkar vowed to foil attempts to “change the Constitution of the country”.

The rally, held at the Hindustan Antibiotics (HA) ground, was attended by AIMIM MLA Imtiaz Jaleel, former MLC Laxman Mane, Bharip Bahujan Mahasangh State President Ashok Sonawane and City President Devendra Tayade.

Ambedkar alleged that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Mohan Bhagwat was leading a parallel government in the country.

The Congress has not posed an effective challenge to the present ruling power and therefore the Wanchit Bahujan Aghadi had decided to fight the political battle independently, he said.

In his address, Jaleel said the objective of the Wanchit Bahujan Aghadi was not to grab power but to save the nation’s Constitution.

The BJP-led NDA government at the centre had given many promises to the people of India but failed to fulfill them, he said.
