Rise in min and max temperature in Pune

PUNE: After two chilly days, Pune again reported a significant rise in minimum and maximum temperatures on Sunday. The city reported a maximum temperature of 30.1 degrees Celsius and minimum temperature of 12.7 degrees Celsius. 

On Friday, Pune had reported season’s lowest minimum temperature of 8.2 degrees Celsius.

As per predictions made by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature is further set to rise in the next few days to as high as 31 degrees Celsius. However, minimum temperature will be pleasant with minimum temperature further decreasing after January 23. Pune will witness cloudy skies between January 20 and January 22.

The lowest minimum temperature recorded in the State was in Nashik at 11 degree Celsius on Sunday.

The weather across Maharashtra shall remain dry in the coming week.

ACROSS INDIA
The lowest minimum temperature recorded was 2.5 degrees Celsius at Sikar in east Rajasthan.

IMD officials noted a fresh western disturbance is likely to affect western Himalayan region and plains of northwest India from January 20. Under its influence, fairly widespread to widespread rain/snow is likely over western Himalayan region during January 20 and 21, and reduce significantly thereafter. This system will not significantly affect the weather in northern plains.
