Pune: On the third day of Diwali, the city experienced a cloudy day with showers in different parts. Shivajinagar and Senapati Bapat Road received light showers whereas other parts of the city like Wanawadi, Mukund Nagar, Sinhagad Road, Peth areas, Kothrud and Pimpri received moderate rainfall during the day.
The temperature was around 32.8 degrees Celsius during the day. However, cloudy weather gave a respite from the blazing sun. The night temperature was reported at 21.2 degrees Celsius.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the sky shall remain cloudy on November 7 as well with a few parts of the city experiencing rainfall, along with thundershower. However, the night temperature is further expected to drop.
On Tuesday, IMD reported the lowest temperature in the State at Mahabaleshwar at 16.1 degrees Celsius. The highest maximum temperature was reported at 36.6 degrees Celsius at Santacruz, Mumbai. Across Maharashtra, the IMD has forecast that between November 7 and November 10, the weather shall remain dry.

On Tuesday, the lowest minimum temperature recorded was 6.3 degrees Celsius at Churu in west Rajasthan.
According to IMD, till November 8, heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places over south Tamil Nadu. During the same time, heavy rain is likely at isolated places over south Kerala as well.
Till November 8, the squally weather with the wind speed of 30 to 40 kmph with gusty wind is predicted at adjoining equatorial Indian ocean. Sea conditions are likely to be rough to very rough over the same area. Fishermen are advised not to venture into the sea.
