Pune: Traffic police identify 85 water-logging spots causing traffic

Pune: The Pune city traffic police have identified 85 spots on various roads in the city, where waterlogging is reported during the monsoon season which leads to traffic snarls.

The areas which were surveyed by the traffic police include, Swargate, Bundgarden, Dattawadi, Wanawadi, Bharati Vidyapeeth, Koregaon Park, Shivajinagar, Warje and Chatuhshrungi. Traffic police have sent a list of these 85 locations of waterlogging to the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC). Police have asked PMC officials to take measures to prevent waterlogging at these spots during the rainy season.
