Pune: Tik-Tok star arrested for stealing two-wheelers and filming videos of stolen bikes

Pune: A Tik-Tok star and his friend have been arrested by the Pimpri Chinchwad Police's Crime Branch (Unit One) officials for allegedly stealing bike for a joyride. A total of 10 two-wheelers worth about Rs four lakh have been seized from them.

The police have identified the arrested person as Rahul Mohan Pawar (19) and his friend Swapnil Raju Katkar (19) who has been involved in stealing two-wheeler. The duo was stealing two-wheelers parked in Khadki, Sangvi, and Bhosari MIDC areas. They confessed the police that they used to parked two-wheeler under the bridge at Bhosari after having fun all day.

According to the police, "Our police constables Ganesh Sawant and Nitin Khese, attached to the Crime Branch (Unit 1), came to know that arrested suspect Rahul is a Tik-Tok star. He was riding two-wheeler near a Bridge of Bhosari area along with Swapnil. Accordingly, a trap was set at the respective place along with other personnel of the squad, and the two were taken into custody. After further investigation into the theft of the two-wheelers found by the two, they confessed to stealing ten two-wheelers."

Eight cases have been registered in Khadki, Sangvi and MIDC Bhosari police stations of vehicle thieves against them. Police said that Tiktok star Rahul was using different bikes for the video. Under the guidance of Senior Inspector of Police Uttam Tangade, Assistant Inspector of Police Ganesh Patil, Kaluram Landage along with Sachin Ugle, Ganesh Sawant, Ravindra Gawde, Vijay More, Vishal Bhoir and Nitin Khese team has helped to crack ten vehicles thieves cases.
