Pune: No water supply in city on Thursday

Pune: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has announced closure of water supply to the entire city on September 10 (Friday) to undertake repair works.

There will be no supply of water on Thursday, September 10, in Pune city. The supply will be resumed on Friday with low pressure. Water will not be distributed to the sub-stations as pumping pumping will remain closed during the day.

PMC water department issued the press statement announcing the water closure. The administration in its release stated, “There will be no water supply on Thursday (September 10). Amid the electrical and civil work repair will be done at all water department plants. The water supply will resume on Friday morning with a low pressure.” The civic body has appealed to the residents to cooperate with during the water supply disruption.
