Pune: If you are planning to travel by the Ganeshkhind road to and from Shivajinagar, Aundh, Baner or Pashan from Wednesday (July 15) then plan your journey for the next three weeks as you might not get to use the regular lanes. The Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) has started demolishing the two flyovers in the Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) and hence some traffic diversions are being made to minimize the inconvenience to commuters.
Presently the Pashan wing of the flyover is being taken down and PMRDA officials claim that this work will be finished before the 10-day lockdown in the city gets over.

First Phase: July 14 to 18 - Pashan wing of the flyover being demolished
* From Shivajinagar to Pashan: If you come from E Square multiplex side on Ganeshkhind road get on the flyover and take the Baner wing lane. Head straight up to Abhimanshree society junction and take left to merge ahead with Pashan road.
* No changes for those headed to Aundh or Baner
* No changes for those coming from Pashan side, Baner or Aundh to Shivajinagar
* No changes while going from Senapati Bapat Road to Shivajinagar
* Those coming from Senapati Bapat road and headed towards Pashan, Baner and Aundh should use the Angal Lane via Ganpati mandir and reach the SPPU junction to head towards their destination

Second Phase: July 19 to 21 - Baner wing of the flyover being demolished
* From Shivajinagar to Baner: Take the Pashan lane of Ganeshkhind road and head straight up to City police and then merge ahead with Baner route.
* No change for those headed to Pashan and Aundh
* No changes for those coming from Pashan side, Baner or Aundh to Shivajinagar

Third Phase: July 23 to 30 - Aundh wing of the flyover being demolished
* From Shivajinagar to Aundh: Those coming from Aundh side should take Baner road and take a right turn at ITI road and merge ahead with Aundh road.
* No changes for those headed to Pashan or Baner
* No changes for those coming from Pashan side, Baner or Aundh to Shivajinagar

Fourth Phase: July 31 to August 9 - E Square wing and a remaining bridge portion
* Vehicles coming from Pashan and going towards Shivajinagar should go to Baner road via Abhimanshri society junction.
