Pimpri: In a bizarre incident, a police case has been filed against three people in Pune where a minor girl has alleged that she was forced to see her grandparents performing sexual intercourse and also she was repeatedly sexually assaulted by her maternal uncle.
The incident came to light after the victim approached the Pune based foundation for children protection Muskaan, a non-government organisation's social worker Sayali Atre who helped the girl in approaching the police and registering the case.
On Tuesday, the Chinchwad police station which falls under the jurisdiction of the Pimpri-Chinchwad police commissionerate lodged the First Information Report (FIR) with them and then the case was transferred to Velapur police station in Malshiras Taluka under Solapur police commissionerate.
The incidence has taken place between 2014 till 2020 at Solapur and Satara districts. According to the police officials, "Grandmother and grandfather made obscene jokes in front of a minor girl as well as they forced her to see the physical relationship of duo. Later she was also manhandled and molested by her grandfather as well as many a time she noticed that he used to peep while she and her sister changed clothes. When the victim told her grandmother she advised her to remain quiet as well as stated that her grandfather had done nothing wrong and thrashed her. The victim was abused and beaten by them."
The police further stated, "The victim has further mentioned that she has been repeatedly sexually assaulted, abused and molested by her maternal aunt husband." The police are investigating the case further.
