Pune: Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari arrives at Raj Bhavan for flag hoisting ceremony

He discussed with matters concerning the COVID-19 outbreak and the efforts taken by all the administration officials, as well police, to boost their morale while fighting against the virus on the forefront.

Pune: The Maharashtra State Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari arrives at Raj Bhavan in Pune from Nagpur. Considering the COVID-19 spread in Mumbai last month, he had shifted to Nagpur. Now, he arrived in Pune, but not due to the outbreak, but for the flag hoisting ceremony.

The Divisional Commissioner Saurabh Rao, Commissioner of Police Dr K. Venkatesh, Collector in charge Ayush Prasad welcomed him on his arrival. Deputy Collector Amrit Natekar, District Superintendent of Police Sandeep Patil, Deputy Commissioner of Police Pankaj Deshmukh, Superintendent of Engineers Atul Chavan, Executive Engineer Niranjan Telang, Mulshi Tehsildar Abhay Chavan and other officials were also present.

Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari will hoist the flag at the Vidhan Bhavan, better known as Council Hall, in Pune on August 15 this Saturday, on the occasion of Independence Day.
