Pune: In the wake of coronavirus pandemic spread number of schools and academies have turned online. Now marching on similar lines, the Pune based adventure education is also gearing up via online.
Pune’s Guardian Giripremi Institute of Mountaineering (GGIM), embarks its sixth edition of the Adventure Education for school kids – Avhaan Nirmaan Udaan.
Trekkers, mountaineers, nature lovers, have in particular noticed how being in nature has taught us fundamental lessons of surviving with simplicity and positivity. Outdoor education has subtly boosted immunity systems, imparted life skills, and gave the confidence to face adversities without losing optimism. For over three months the world had come to a standstill. But the development of physical fitness, mental strength of the youth cannot be put on hold.
However, the safety and health of the children is to be ensured. Staying inside the home indefinitely is not a solution. Keeping this in mind, GGIM has planned new ways, new Methods, new approaches to embark on its 6th Edition of Avhaan Nirmaan Udaan, a-year-long adventure educational the programme, meant for the age group between 10-16 years old age.
The program will be launched on July 5, this year coming Sunday, wherein they will discuss all the details and our approach towards executing the educational programs. So, they invite all children and their parents to attend this online launch program.
Bhushan Harshe GGIM Institute Head Operation said, “This the course is completely based on physical training but considering the current pandemic situation such course cannot commence on the field. To overcome it, initially days we are working on online training and motivation sessions of such mountaineering and trekking tips. Later after the unlock we will come up with fieldwork based on the guidance of central and state government.”
