Pune: City reports 1,764 new COVID-19 patients

A total number of 2,431 patients have died. 1,830 patients undergoing treatment for COVID-19 have recovered and sent home. In total, As a result, Pune's COVID-19 total has reached 83,915 as informed by the health department of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC).

Pune: A total of 1,764 new coronaviruses cases were found in Pune on Friday night, while 30 deaths were reported. The total victims of COVID-19 has reached 1.02 lakh.

In Pimpri-Chinchwad, 24 people were reported dead and 891 people have recovered and sent back home. The total number of infected patients in Pimpri-Chinchwad has reached 53,289, out of which 42,349 have been cured. The number of active patients undergoing treatment at the corporation's hospital is 6,110, according to the Pune Municipal corporation's (PMC) health department.

The prevalence of the virus in Maharashtra is increasing rapidly by the day. A total of 19,218 new coronavirus cases were found in the state on Friday. and a total of 378 people were reported dead. At the same time, the total number of taxpayers in the state has now reached 8.63 lakh. This includes 6.25 lakh people who have been recovered from corona, 2.10 lakh active cases and 25,964 deaths till date.
