Police naik sent on forced retirement

Gat had denied the allegations levelled against him during the inquiry. 

Pune: A police naik of Vishrantwadi police station has been sent on forced retirement after he was found guilty during the 
departmental enquiry. 

As per the order issued by Additional Commissioner of Police (East region) Sunil Phulari, policeman Uttam Janardan Gat used to go in civil dress for passport verification. He also used to  make people wait for long at the police station, besides other 
disciplinary issues.

Gat had denied the allegations levelled against him during the inquiry.
