Pimpri-Chinchwad: Mayor Usha Dhore gets schooled by deputy CM Ajit Pawar

Pimpri: Appealing not to engage politics during the COVID-19 pandemic, Deputy Chief Minister of state Ajit Pawar appealed Pimpri-Chinchwad Mayor Usha alias Maaie Dhore who forgot to mention the names of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and Health Minister Rajesh Tope in her speech.

The Mayor of an industrial town, Dhore did not mention the names of these dignitaries in her speech on Wednesday. When Deputy CM Ajit Pawar noticed this, he himself gave a befitting reply on the same. This entire scenario took place on Wednesday at the inauguration of Jumbo COVID- Centre in the city.. Many dignitaries and activists were present on the occasion.

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar while replying Dhore said, "Everyone is battling against the novel coronavirus without bringing any politics. I sincerely thank the Mayor and others on the occasion. Mayor Mai Dhore, you spoke at the beginning. However, you forgot to take the names of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister Rajesh Tope. I think, you Inadvertently forgot to take the names.

He further stated, “We should keep away politics in such critical situation of the coronavirus pandemic, as well as maintain personal and social hygiene and citizens should abide by the rules laid down by the administration.”
