PEDL to hold treasure hunt to mark World Bicycle Day on June 3

Pune: To make people aware of the benefits of cycling, on the occasion of World Bicycle Day which is celebrated on June 3, PEDL, the dockless bicycle company has organised PEDL Treasure Hunt activity across six cities - Pune, Chennai, Bangaluru, Mumbai, Kolkata and Hyderabad to make the cyclists aware of the World Bicycle Day and the service which is simple, affordable, reliable, clean and environmentally fit sustainable means of transportation.

Every city where the treasure hunt has been organised, the start and the end locations have been identified and between these two locations, there would be other four locations. These six locations will comprise the treasure hunt circuit. Apart from the start and the end locations, the other locations will be considered as activity locations. The four activity locations will have certain tasks which will have to be completed by the participant.

After completing the activity, the participant will receive a balloon which needs to be tied to his cycle. This balloon will indicate that a certain task at the corresponding activity location has been completed. The participants can take place in various activities such as ‘cycle sprint’, ‘just roll with it’, ‘selfie game strong’ and ‘Shaolin cycle’.

Speaking on the occasion, Greg Moran, CEO and Co-founder of Zoomcar said, “On this World Bicycle Day, we want to reach out to all our PEDL customers and new audience as well to make them understand the purpose of providing a convenient, affordable and environment-friendly cycle sharing service for short trips around the city and helping serve local use cases such as grocery shopping, errand running and last mile commuting.”
