Passengers stranded at Pune airport due to Indigo sys slowdown

The passengers were standing at the check-in counters for long hours. The system was working to give boarding passes to the passengers. It also affected passenger traffic badly to Delhi, Chennai and Bengaluru airports.

PUNE: The passengers of Indigo Airlines were stranded at Pune airport due to a technical issue of the airline’s system on Sunday.

Several flights were delayed for around 2-3 hours. 

The passengers were standing at the check-in counters for long hours. The system was working to give boarding passes to the passengers. It also affected passenger traffic badly to Delhi, Chennai and Bengaluru airports.

A passenger tweeted, “Standing in the queue from last 2 hours for check-in, due to your terrible way to manage system failures at Pune. Waste of time and money. Do you expect me to travel with you again?” 

In reply, Indigo said, “Sorry about that. We’re experiencing system slowdown at Pune airport. Our team is trying to solve the issue asap. Please reach out to our staff for assistance.” Another passenger tweeted, “why is there a sea of the crowd at #Pune airport near your counters? No announcement and update?” 

Indigo Airline helpline desk replied, “Sorry about that. We’re experiencing system slowdown at Pune Airport. Our team is trying to solve the issue asap. Please reach out to our staff for assistance.”
