Pune: One person was killed and three were injured after a private car carrying four tourists fell into a gorge near Lion’s Point in Lonavla on Friday. According to the police, the car had left Lion’s Point and was on its way back to Lonavla when the speeding car driver lost control over wheels and fell into a gorge. The accident took place at around 2.30 am.
According to the Lonavla police, the car met with the accident near INS Shivaji naval establishment. All car occupants are residents of Kharghar in Mumbai. The injured have been admitted to a hospital and their condition is reported to be stable.
