Pune: Products made by students of Industrial Training Institute  (ITI) (Girls) Aundh, under their cosmetology and food processing workshop will be now sold in the market.

“Ahead of various festival seasons, we have launched these products keeping in mind the importance and speciality of each festival like Ganesh festival, Dussehra and Diwali. Most of the households need traditional food products and traditional skin cleansers. Besides, few items are made with variations as like the different type of ingredients have been used to give it a contemporary feel. However, all products are made without using preservatives,” said Hemlata Jadhav, In-Charge of the Fruits and Vegetable Processing Department at ITI.

Although students have been making these products for a long time as a part of their education, the college never marketed the products. However, by adopting the made-to-order scheme for the first time, we are trying to give exposure about business to our students,” said, SR Khadtare, Acting Principal of ITI (Girls), Aundh.
