PUNE: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has invited applications from students of Std X, who have successfully completed the coursework of ‘Kaushalya Setu’, for the transfer of credits so that they can avail the opportunity of higher secondary education.
Students, who are interested, can download the application forms from the Board website www.mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in.
The students, who have completed the Kaushalya Setu coursework before the academic year 2018-19, should take a printout of the application forms, and submit them to their respective divisional boards by November 5. The form needs to have the stamp of the student’s secondary school through which he/she appeared for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Examination.
Also, the students need to attach self-attested photocopies of the SSC mark sheet, PMKVY Kaushalya Setu Certificate, verified by the respective school principals.
According to the GR issued by the State government, the students can avail transfer of credits in the Kaushalya Setu coursework for any two subjects except for languages and grade subjects. The students need to mention in the forms which two subjects they need to transfer the credits for. If a student does not pass in the SSC examination even after the transfer of credits, they can appear for the examination as repeaters with the remaining subjects.
