Pune: A 55-year-old man running a finance company allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself on Friday afternoon in Hadapsar.
The deceased was identified as Arvind Falke who stayed near Amar Cottage in Hadapsar.
As per the Hadapsar police, Falke was running a finance firm and earlier, he was in the business of chit fund. After having lunch on Friday afternoon in his office he told his workers that he is departing to take some rest in his cabin. Minutes later Falke's workers heard a gunshot. They rushed into the cabin to find Falke lying in a pool of blood.
The police said though Falke was rushed to a hospital, he succumbed to his injuries. The police have found a suicide note and are investigating the cause of suicide. The police said Falke used a licensed pistol. They suspect that Falke was in financial trouble which forced him to take the step. Hadapsar police are investigating the case.
