Maharashtra: Admissions to engineering diploma courses extended till September 30

Pune: Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) has extended of admission upto September 30 to apply for diploma courses after class 10 and 12. The result was taken due to the closure of different educational institutes amid COVID-19. The first merit list will be announced on October 3.

DTE director Abhay Wagh told that the dates have been extended till September 30. The diploma courses for pharmacy, hotel management and catering technology, surface cutting technology to name a few have been extended too. The admission process for diploma courses starts in August but amid the COVID-19 outbreak, it has been extended too.  

Through e-scrutiny, the applications will be established and will be measured for the vacant seats other than CAP seats. The first merit list will be announced on October 3 whereas the final list will be declared on October 8.

UPDATED SCHEDULE

  • Till September 30: Admission open
  • October 3: Provisional merit list will be announced
  • October 4-6: Students can raise objections
  • October 8: - Final merit list to be declared
