LPF announces scholarships for 7th batch

Pune: Lila Poonawalla Foundation (LPF) has announced school scholarships for the seventh batch of students.

In 2011, LPF, in association with Biltema Foundation, started the ‘2MORROW 2GETHER’ school project initiative. It is aimed at supporting girls for 10 years, beginning from the seventh standard, till the time they graduate. Under this initiative, girls are not only supported financially, but they are also given timely counselling and training by LPF and a team of highly skilled counsellors and trainers.

In its inaugural year, the project just had five schools but as the years have gone by, 14 more schools have been added into the fold, taking the total to 19 schools in just seven years.

LPF will award collective scholarships to 1,484 girls, comprising 356 new girls and 1,128 existing recipients.

Like every year, the batch of newly selected girls will be felicitated with a scholarship certificate, along with a new identity of Lila Junior bestowed upon them.

The award function to be held in June will host the newly christened Lila Juniors and also their parents, corporate personalities and noted academicians from Pune city.
