Integrated mega block on Pune-Daund route

Pune: The Pune railway division is working on maintenance of railway tracks. The division is implementing an integrated mega block between Pune and Daund railway section on downline. This will affect four Pune-Daund DEMU trains till May 31.

According to railways, “Every day after Mumbai-Bangalore Udyan Express heads towards Daund, the integrated mega block will be carried out for three hours. The train leaves Pune station at 11.30 am. This will affect Train number 71407 (Down) Pune-Daund DEMU, train number 71408 (UP) Daund-Pune DEMU, train number 71409 (Down) Pune-Daund DEMU and train number 71410 (UP) Daund-Pune and these trains will be cancelled till May 31.”

Two-day traffic & OHE block
The Pune railway division is constructing a 12-metre foot over bridge (FOB). The bridge will connect platform number one and two. The traffic and OHE block will be on May 17 between 11.30 am to 12.30 pm and on May 18, the block will be between 11.30 to 3 pm. During this period, the trains will arrive and depart from platform number 3, 4, 5 and 6. The main line of platform number 1 and 2 (both up and down) will be closed.
