Girish Bapat’s top priorities for the city are water and transport

PUNE: A day after won the Pune Lok Sabha seat with a record margin, newly elected MP Girish Bapat announced he would give top priority to better transport and adequate water supply.

Speaking to the media on Friday, Bapat said that he will soon come out with the agenda for the city to improve transport facility  and to supply adequate water to Puneities.

Bapat said he is bound to implement the manifesto that the BJP published for the city during the election campaign. All major projects of the city will be put on fast track.

“We will ensure that the city undergoes comprehensive development in the future. There will be sustainable efforts to execute the projects that were stalled during NCP-Congress regime,” he added.
