Five structures in the Aamby Valley constructed without permission: CM

MUMBAI: Five structures constructed in the Aamby Valley have been constructed without permission from the concerned authority and a request to regularise these structures is pending with the Pune Metropolitan Regional Development Authority, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis informed the Assembly on Tuesday. 

MLA Bhimrao Tapkir had sought information about unauthorised structures in the Aamby Valley and while replying to the question, the CM said that it was found that there are five structures which have been constructed without permission from the authority. Aamby International School, Namak Hotel, Spa, Bilikiya Villa and Culture Centre have been constructed without permission from the concerned authorities. “They had applied to the authority for regularise these structures by charging a fine, but the proposal is pending with the authority,” Fadanvis said. 

While scrutinising the revised plan of the development plan of Aamby Valley, it has been realised that these constructions have no permission. 

Also, forest land has been excluded from the revised development plan. After the amendment, there will be 2616.92-hectare land will be included in the hill station development plan.
