First merit list for admission to Bifocal stream out today

Pune: The first merit list for Bifocal admissions for Std XI (FYJC) under the online Centralised Admission Process (CAP) will begin from Thursday. The first merit list for the same will be released and will be available for students from 11 am on Thursday.

The first round of admissions for students who have been allotted colleges after the first list will be held for two days on June 21 and 22. Till the last day (June 18), as many as 4,861 students from Pune region filled the forms for bifocal stream. State-wide the number is 3,01,521.

After the first round of admissions, the colleges will have to declare the number of vacant seats by June 23, following which the rest of the students and the students who haven’t taken admissions at the allotted colleges in first round will be allowed to make changes to their preference lists.

The second merit list for Bifocal will be declared at 11 am on June 28, followed by admissions on June 28 and 29, from 11 am to 5 pm. The first regular merit list for admissions to Std XI in Science, Commerce, Arts and MCVC streams, is scheduled to be declared on July 5. 

Till the last update, 2,93,271 students in the state have filled the forms, with Part II for the admissions to the regular streams. The last date for the same is June 25.
