PIMPRI: The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has organised the international Pimpri Chinchwad ‘Festival of the Future’ on February 28 and 29 at Auto Cluster in Chinchwad.
The event will be inaugurated by Shravan Hardikar, Commissioner of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation and Mayor Usha Dhore.
Renowned scientist Dr Raghunath Mashelkar will be the chief guest. On the first day, a series of events will be organised apart from the Citizen Hackathon which carries a prize money of Rs 9 lakh.
FIRST DAY’S EVENTS
At noon, Future Talk will see Akshay Malhotra, Founder of Early Salary, Sandesh Salian, Director Dali and Samir Engineering Pvt Ltd, Winny Patro, CEO and Cofounder of Recordent, and Tarun Mehta, Founder of Ather Energy deliver lectures. After lunch, a Pitchfest workshop will be held.
In the evening session, Abhay Jere, Chief Innovation Officer in Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Hanumant Gaikwad, Founder of Bharat Vikas Group, Udayan Kanade, Founder of Oneirix Labs, and Himanshu Ratan, a partner in KPMG will speak about various challenges in the entreprenuership sector.
SECOND DAY’S EVENTS
At 10 am, health and fitness will be the central topic of discussion in which Vishal Gondal, founder of GOQii, Jitendra Chouksey, Founder of Fittr, Siddharth Deshmukh, Founder of Arimaya Ventures, Prasad Kulkarni, founder of Prasaditi Medical Equipment) will participate. In the afternoon session, JL Chaudhari, IT advisor to Tamil Nadu government, Vishnu Manohar of Vishnuji Ki Rasoi chain of restaurants, Loveena Leonardo, Founder of Everything Expects and Chris Rozario will deliver speeches.
IMPARTING KNOWLEDGE
- Nearly 1,000 start-up entrepreneurs from all over the State are scheduled to participate in the festival on Friday and Saturday.
- There will be an exhibition of various projects made by 20 start-up industry professionals.
