Eight Pune-Mumbai trains cancelled from today

The cancelled trains include the trains running UP and Down and also eight trains running between Pune and Mumbai.

PUNE: Central Railway has cancelled 24 trains running between Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Ajni, Nizamuddin, Bhusaval, Howrah and Kalaburagi from March 18 to 31.

As per information provided by Pune Railway Division Spokesperson Manoj Jhawar, trains have been cancelled to contain the spread of coronavirus and non-occupancy. 

The cancelled trains include the trains running UP and Down and also eight trains running between Pune and Mumbai.

As a preventive measure, the Central Railway on its Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Bhusaval and Solapur divisions has increased the platform ticket from Rs 10 to Rs 50 till further notice.
