Dry weather in State till May 16, says IMD

PUNE: According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), heat wave conditions have prevailed at isolated places over Odisha, Bihar, Vidarbha and Telangana. The highest maximum temperature recorded over the plains was 45.6 degree Celsius at Khammam in Telangana.

IMD has forecasted that till May 16, thunderstorm and lightning accompanied with gusty winds at isolated places over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand and Gangetic West Bengal are likely. Whereas, heat wave conditions will prevail at isolated places over Vidarbha during the same time.

As per IMD, the highest maximum temperature reported in the state of Maharashtra was also at 45.6 degree Celsius in Bramhapuri on Sunday.

IMD has forecasted that except for Vidarbha, rest of the State will be witnessing dry weather all around till May 16. 

PUNE CITY
City on Sunday reported day temperature at 39.9 degree Celsius and night temperature at 22.3 degree Celsius. According to IMD, the day temperature will remain around 40 degrees Celsius till May 14 and will touch 38 degrees Celsius till May 18 with clear skies all along.
